Der legendäre Prog-Metal Act Fates Warning feierte ihren 30. Geburtstag ihres dritten Albums "Awaken the Guardian" im Jahre 2016.
Das Album war die letzte Veröffentlichung mit dem Sänger John Arch.
Das Line-Up dieser Ära wurde mit Joe DiBiase am Bass, an den Kesseln Steve Zimmerman,
mit Gitarristen Frank Aresti und natürlich Jim Matheos komplettiert.
Um diesen Anlass gebührend zu feiern, hat Matheos das "Awaken the Guardian" Line-Up für zwei spezielle Festival-Auftritte um sich geschart:
dem Keep it True XIX in Lauda-Königshofen, Deutschland und dem Prog Power USA XVII in Atlanta, GA
