The band that became ELUVEITIE was originally planned to become a studio project by mastermind Chrigel Glanzmann who combined elements of the Gothenburg melodic death metal and old folk melodies. That was back in 2002, but today the “New Wave Of Folk Metal” outfit has developed into the most successful Swiss metal act of all time.
