STRAPPING YOUNG LAD was one hell of a band. Devin Townsend at the helm of things as the founder, mastermind, singer, guitarist, main composer and producer as well as drum monster Gene Hoglan (DEATH, DARK ANGEL, TESTAMENT…), bassist Byron Stroud (FEAR FACTORY, ZIMMERS HOLE…) and Jed Simon on guitar (ZIMMERS HOLE, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY) created music that was so far ahead of its time, that it might still seem to early to really understand all details. This is "Far Beyond Metal"!
