Violent and beautiful – seldomly these two attributes accompany each other as well as they do in the music of SOJOURNER. Their synthesis of folk and atmospheric black metal is truly exceptional and takes the listener for a ride through a wide range of melodies and diverse vocals. Emilio Crespo expresses the lyrics through his intense growls while he is complemented by the ethereal clean vocals of Lucia Amelia Emmanueli. Equally special is that the group’s members are literally spread all around the globe. This band must be explored.
