Aborted are a Belgian death metal band formed in 1995. Led by vocalist and founder Sven de Caluwé, they are the only band to have had the same line-up since their formation. Renowned for their brutal, technical and horror-inspired style, the band has evolved from its death/grind origins to become one of Europe’s most prominent extreme metal acts. Key releases include Goremageddon, The Archaic Abattoir, Retrogore, ManiaCult, and 2024's Vault of Horrors. Strychnine.213 sees the Belgian band take their death metal/grind sound to new levels of surgical precision, modernity and brutality, with powerful, razor-sharp production.
