Genre: Metal/Black Metal
The Tawainese extreme metal band Chthonic released their first new album in five years with "Battlefields of Asura". The band was inspired by Black Metal (especially Cradle Of Filth), which they enrich with melodies, choirs and traditional Asian instruments. On the new recordings were u.a. Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God) and singer Denise Ho from Hong Kong.
The CD in digipak contains the English versions, the LP on black vinyl contains the Taiwanese versions of their songs.
