Silvertomb was founded in the wake of Type O Negative and Seventh Void and is the latest musical project of Kenny Hickey (Type O Negative, Seventh Void), Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Danzig) and Hank Hell (Seventh Void, Inhuman). This time they join forces with New York hardcore veteran Joseph James (Agnostic Front, Inhuman) on guitar and Aaron Joos (Awaken The Shadow, Empyreon) on keys, guitar and background vocals. Silvertomb combine musical styles between Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath to a bone-breaking, stunning, sonic journey into the abdomen of human emotions. The album "Edge of Existence"; deals with Kenny Hickey's personal struggles with addiction, love and suicide, the death of his singer and frontman Peter Steele in 2010 and the subsequent dissolution of Type O Negative.
