Kai Hansen is considered one of the most influential figures in heavy metal. As co-founder of Helloween and founder of Gamma Ray, he has significantly shaped power metal. With "Born With A Hammer," Hansen now presents his first solo album in many years, released on September 18, 2026, via earMUSIC. Raw, energetic, rebellious, and unmistakably personal, the album unites the various facets of his musical identity, moving between powerful heavy metal, hard rock, and a punk attitude, all carried by his signature sound. Produced by Eike Freese, "Born With A Hammer" showcases Hansen at the height of his creative powers. The first single, "Feeding The Beast," already provides a powerful first impression of the album.
