Kerrigan are undoubtedly among the most promising German newcomers in the traditional heavy metal scene. Founded in Freiburg in 2019 by Bruno Schotten (guitar, bass) and Jonas Weber (guitar, vocals), the band recorded a demo a year later featuring their original songs “Intruders,” “Force And Will,” and “Heavy Metal 2020,” as well as a cover version of “Rest In Peace” by the NWOBHM band Wolf.

Their debut album, Bloodmoon (2023), was followed in 2026 by the follow-up Wayfarer, which takes things up a notch in terms of quality.
