Often considered a masterpiece, King Diamond's third studio album Them was released in 1988 through Roadrunner Records. This chilling horror concept album details a young boy's descent into madness alongside his possessed grandmother and the spectral entities haunting their home. The subsequent album, Conspiracy, continues the narrative. Praised for its intricate storytelling, layered vocals portraying different characters and strong musicianship, 'Them' cements King Diamond's reputation for theatrical, dark metal.
