Monkeys on Mars' debut EP features members of the heavy psych bands Mars Red Sky and Monkey3. The two space-prog tracks blend their soundscapes perfectly. Monkey3 bring kraut-infused effects and convincing heavy riffs to Mars Red Sky's tortured melodies. The whole thing is carried along by a pachydermic rhythm section comprising two drums and two basses.
