Description
2025 was an important year in Motorhead's history. Not only did it mark the 50th anniversary of the band's formation and their first gig, it would also have been Lemmy's 80th birthday.
2026 marks the 50th anniversary of their first recordings, completed in early 1976. To celebrate this, a four-disc set comprising three CDs and one Blu-ray will be released. The set includes the original album, remixed by Steven Wilson, as well as two discs featuring material from the same recording sessions, remixed by Richard Digby Smith.
Parole, Motorhead's first ever studio recordings from 1975–76, features Larry Wallison on guitar, Phil Taylor on drums and Lucas Fox on bass guitar and vocals. This is a unique opportunity to hear this legendary fledgling band writing and capturing their earliest recordings.
