Description
Wolves In The Throne Room brings black metal back to its roots as an ode to the storm, smoke and wild energies of the Pacific Northwest.
Their first studio album "Diadem Of 12 Stars" (2006), was a genre-busting classic that created a melancholic and psychedelic cascading atmosphere. Since that time, they have become one of the strongest and highly respected bands in their genre.
The listener encounters crystalline metal riffs that slowly collapse and transform into ritual lamentation and the vocals of endless rain falling on ancient cedars. Their music is a doorway to a mythical ethereal moorland that comes with music, magic and dreams.
