"Beg To Differ" is available in a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on Translucent Yellow Vinyl and includes an insert.
The former soundman of New York club CBGB's, Tommy Victor, founded Prong in 1987 as an outlet for his acoustic fury. With their roots in the thrash metal and hardcore scene, Prong carved out a niche for themselves - groovy, angry, massive; simply perfect mosh music. The trio destroyed stages and impressed audiences all over the world.
Their first album on a major label, "Beg To Differ", promised a bright future for the New York industrial hardcore metal band. "Beg To Differ" signaled a sonic shift from the raw early albums "Primitive Origins" and "Force Fed" to a dry, metallic, reverb-free sound. The video for "Beg To Differ" ran on MTV in high circulation. The single "Lost And Found" was even used in the commercial breaks of MTV's "Headbangers Ball" in the early nineties.
