With their 2025 album "Alienated", Europe's No. 1 horror punk band The Other are starting a new but familiar chapter. Frontman Rod Usher describes it as a conscious "back to the roots" album with energetic punk riffs, dark anthems and gothic punk vibes.

The new line-up - including founder Andy Only - made it possible to return to the classic style. After successes such as "Haunted" (2020) and the return to their own label Fiend Force, a focused, powerful album full of fun songwriting was created. Producer Tim Schulte brought fresh accents, while Arne Neurand perfected the mix. Songs like "I Give You the Creeps" or "Hier Sein" tackle themes of alienation. Rod Usher's deep, haunting voice makes Alienated possibly the band's darkest album to date - direct, emotional and with heart and soul.
