Description
The Irish rock band Thin Lizzy’s debut album, *Thin Lizzy*, was released on April 30, 1971. It was followed in August of that same year by the EP *New Day*, produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios. These deluxe CD and LP releases commemorating the 55th anniversary of Thin Lizzy’s debut album feature rarities, BBC sessions, and previously unreleased music.
The 4-LP edition includes the album as well as three CDs of rare material, some of which is being released on vinyl for the first time. On this LP, Thin Lizzy poured their heart and soul into their music and took some risks in the process. The LP is passionate, energetic, and unmistakable.
