In the past, Epic Doom Metal was considered to be mainly the territory of American (Warlord) or Swedish (Sorcerer) formations. However, due to the success of Atlantean Kodex, Germany has recently appeared on the map as well. Not least thanks to hopefuls like Lord Vigo, formed in 2014 in Landstuhl, Rhineland-Palatinate.
