Beschreibung
Die 1993 gegründete Band Enthroned gilt neben Ancient Rites als eines der Aushängeschilder der belgischen Black-Metal-Szene. Eine Tragödie ereilte die Band 1997, als Schlagzeuger Cernunnos Selbstmord beging. Auf Disc 3 dieses Sets, das als Tribut zu seinen Ehren aufgenommen wurde, ist ein bisher unveröffentlichtes Stück zu hören, das Cernunnos aufgenommen hat und das bisher unbekannt war.
Während ihrer produktiven Anfangsjahre tourte die Band mehrfach mit Bands wie Marduk, Dark Funeral und Usurper durch Europa. Dieses Box-Set enthält zusätzlich Live- und Demo-Bonustracks von der "Commanders Of Chaos"-Veröffentlichung und ein neues, ausführliches Interview mit dem Bandmitglied und Lead-Gitarristen Nornagest (Cousin von Venom-Bassist und Sänger Cronos). Cronos selbst steuert Backing Vocals für zwei Tracks auf 'Towards The Skullthrone Of Satan' bei.
Das Cover-Artwork wurde exklusiv für diese Veröffentlichung in Auftrag gegeben und von Nornagest selbst gestaltet. Zusätzliche unveröffentlichte Archivfotos, die von Nornagest zur Verfügung gestellt wurden, erscheinen im Booklet.
