Was vor mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten begann, bekommt nun eine neue Dimension: My Chemical Romance veröffentlichen eine Deluxe Edition ihres zweiten Albums - mit zusätzlichen Tracks und neuen Facetten des Klassikers. Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge (Deluxe Edition) erscheint am 6. Juni 2025 - genau 21 Jahre nach der Erstveröffentlichung des Albums, das allein in den USA dreifach mit Platin ausgezeichnet wurde. Die Neuauflage erscheint frisch abgemischt und remastered - als CD und in mehreren farbigen Vinyl-Varianten. Die Vinyl-Versionen sind dreiseitig, Seite 4 ist mit einer kunstvollen Ätzung veredelt - ein echtes Sammlerstück für MCRmy.Zum Jubiläum des heißgeliebten Albums von 2004 hat Grammy-Gewinner Rich Costey höchstpersönlich die Deluxe Edition neu abgemischt. Dazu gibt es ein brandneues Artwork. Und dann sind da noch die vier Bonustracks - Live-Aufnahmen aus dem Jahr 2005, damals exklusiv für die BBC eingespielt: Bislang unveröffentlichte Versionen von „I’m Not Okay (I Promise)“, „Helena“ und „The Ghost Of You“ sowie ein Live-Take von „You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison“, das ursprünglich nur als B-Seite der limitierten UK-CD-Single von „I’m Not Okay (I Promise)“ erhältlich war.
