Beschreibung
Necromantia war eine einflussreiche griechische Black-Metal-Band, die 1989 in Athen gegründet wurde.
Ihr Debütalbum Crossing the Fiery Path (1993) gilt als Meilenstein des griechischen Black Metals. Necromantia war gemeinsam mit Rotting Christ und Varathron Teil der „Unholy Trinity“ der griechischen Szene.
Die 3 Demos: Promo Tape 1990, Vampiric Rituals (1992) und Promo 1993 sowie die Tracks von der The Black Arts / The Everlasting Sins Split Veröffentlichung mit Varathron erscheinen im September 2025 als limitierte (je 150 Stück) Tape Neuauflagen.
