"Do Or Die" is as direct and honest as you would expect from SPITFIRE, but it also contains sounds that you haven't heard from the three-piece before.
The last 5 years have not been easy for the band and you can hear that in some of the lyrics - but don't worry, SPITFIRE still know how to party and songs like "Like A Lady" prove that.
Following an old tradition, SPITFIRE have once again included a cover on their new album. Intentionally close to the original, but with a clear SPITFIRE edge in terms of production, "Out In The Cold" from Tom Petty's album "Into The Great White Open" (1991) fits seamlessly into this album.
Petty's simplicity mixed with the nonchalance of Californian punk rock, the snot of old Swedish pig rock records and thick guitars of a 2021 production make up both this album and the sound the band has now found for themselves.
SPITFIRE sound more varied than ever and still stay true to their line - look forward to straightforward, no-frills and handmade rock music!
