Welcome to HEAVY WATER and their debut album "Red Brick City", the 2020 lockdown project from SAXON's Biff Byford and his son Seb Byford. Steeped in classic rock 'n' roll soul, adorned with dirty, hard riffs and topped with Seb and Biff's voices. Ten songs that move you, inspired by a raw blues with different influences but also new additions - a journey that is a pleasure to listen to. The foundation for HEAVY WATER's sound can be found in the incredible father/son chemistry, on the one hand a lifetime of know-how through Biff and the yet contemporary upbeats that come through Seb. The title track and first single "Red Brick City": smouldering steam with a riff that would make Soundgarden proud; the sunny "Follow This Moment" with vocal harmonies that lie somewhere between the Beach Boys and Led Zeppelin - a wonderful 70s trip to the fade out.
