Besides the two former ACCEPT members Herman Frank (g.) and David Reece (v.), IRON ALLIES are composed of drummer Francesco Jovino (U.D.O., PRIMAL FEAR, VOODOO CIRCLE, JORN), bassist Malte Burkert and guitarist Mike Pesin.

Herman Frank comments, "This album can't be compared to anything David or I have produced in our past. On the one hand it stands on its own feet, on the other hand it sounds like it came out of the same mold. You could say we both searched and found each other!" Furthermore, the guitarist adds, "In a way, "Blood In Blood Out" is the motto of IRON ALLIES. "This band was formed as a blood brotherhood and here no one comes out of it without leaving some blood."
