The Smashing Pumpkins released their debut album "Gish" in 1991 and celebrated their mainstream success with the 1993 multi-platinum album "Siamese Dream" and the ten-platinum album "Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness" (1995). The band has released seven more studio albums. With over 30 million physical albums sold, the band, which has won multiple Grammy®, MTV VMA and American Music Awards, remains an undeniable force in alternative rock.
The Smashing Pumpkins return with their new album "CYR" on Sumerian Records. Recorded in Chicago and produced by singer Billy Corgan. Next to Billy Corgan, the founding members James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin and long-time guitarist Jeff Schroeder are back on board.
