Demons & Wizards is the brain-child of two power metal icons: Iced Earth’s Jon Schaffer and Blind Guardian’s Hansi Kuersch. Their common debut saw the light of day in 1999 and combines the best of both metal power-houses. You can hear Schaffer’s handwriting in his riffs and the hymnic vocals by Kuersch force you to raise your fist in the air. Songs like “Fiddler On The Green” or “Poor Man’s Crusade” are true masterpieces. In 2019, Zeuss (Iced Earth, Overkill, Queensryche) remixed the album and made it even more crushing!
