Description
For 25 years now, ERIC FISH has been indulging his passion for acoustic songwriting. With various musical accompanists, he has produced eight albums and a film. Throughout all these developments, one thing has always remained the same: his curiosity about the turmoil of life and its manifestations in people's minds and hearts. This curiosity has resulted in well over 100 songs.
AUF DEN GRUND (To the Bottom) is a retrospective of the early years of ERIC FISH & FRIENDS, fitting for the anniversary. Fourteen songs, re-recorded and now presented in a modern sound with bass and drums.
It is not surprising that these older songs seem untouched by the ravages of time. Their content goes beyond the contemplation of a single moment and always culminates in a message that brings a quiet, hopeful smile to the listener's face.
