VÉVAKI is a folk band that draws from Nordic paganism and animistic traditions. Myths, rituals and connection with the natural world characterize VÉVAKI's music, which has both a contemporary sound and a wide range of instrumentation. VÉVAKI use a variety of stringed instruments and percussion in their music, the dynamics of which are supported by the complementary vocal styles of Will, Sigurboði and Hrafnhildur and the cinematic soundscapes created by Gísli Gunnarsson. This comes into its own on "Fórnspeki".
