This limited edition deluxe box contains 2 CDs with a new remaster of the original album as well as new stereo mixes by Stephen W. Tayler, including the session outtakes of “Hog Farm” and “Kiss of the Velvet Whip”. Also included are new mixes of the legendary singles 'Silver Machine' and 'Seven by Seven'. The set also includes a region free Blu-ray disc with Stephen W Tayler's stunning new 5.1 surround sound mixes of the album and bonus tracks including 'Silver Machine' and 'Seven by Seven'.

The set is rounded off with a 68-page coffee table book featuring a new essay and a reproduction of the rare Hawkwind logbook, making this box set the definitive release of this legendary album.

In Search of Space from 1972 is the first Hawkind album with which the band achieved its first major success.

The album reached number 18 in the UK charts and was also certified gold. Shortly after the release and various line-up changes in the band, a certain Lemmy Kilmister joined Hawkind.
