FALKENBACH was originally a solo project conceived by Vratyas Vakyas and officially became active for the first time in 1995 with the demo "Læknishendr". With the fourth album "Heralding - The Fireblade" (2005), the German partly presented material from an originally planned debut. This was initially delayed due to production problems and was later reworked. The result was a hybrid work, which on the one hand gave more space to the black spirit of the legendary first album " ...En their medh riki fara...". (1996), but at the same time remained faithful to FALKENBACH's matured pagan metal sound of the direct predecessor.
