The life and musical career of Peter Thomas Ratajczyk (January 4, 1962 - April 14, 2010), better known by his stage name Peter Steele, was often enough the embodiment of sex & drugs & rock & roll. With his height of 2.03 meters, the front man also stood out from the crowd physically. His warm bass baritone became a trademark of classic gothic metal with his band Type O Negative.
