Description
40th Anniversary Editon with the 2007 remastered sound.
'Still' is a compilation album that was first released in 1981, following the death of Joy Division's lead singer, Ian Curtis. The band's iconic status in music history had already been cemented by their two previous albums, and 'Still' filled in the gaps. It featured previously unreleased studio material and two non-album tracks, 'Dead Souls' and 'Glass', as well as a live recording of Joy Division's final concert, which took place at Birmingham University. This concert included the band's only live performance of 'Ceremony', which they later released as a single under their new name, New Order.
