Description
The Belgian band Acid around frontwoman Kate de Lombaerd are considered the pioneers of speed metal in Europe.
The first three albums Acid (1983), ‘Maniac (1983) and Engine Beast (1985) are legendary and will never be forgotten.
With a new line up: Mathieu Trobec (bass), Gilles Reuse (guitar), Andreas Stieglitz (guitar) and Bastiaan Andriessen (drums), the band Kate's Acid was launched and much acclaimed live performances at Keep It True Rising 2021 and Keep and True 2023 followed.
The Keep It True performance from 2023 is released in September 2024 as a CD, MC and LP under the title Blowing Your Ears Off.
