The Summoning Bell is the highly anticipated second album from Irish black/death metal band Malthusian.

With their debut album Across Deaths, the band built up a broad fan base in 2018, which is finally being presented with the follow-up album 7 years later.

The Summoning Bell is the lighting of a pyre — each of the album's tracks explores themes of true nothingness and condemnations of superstition, as well as a profound descent into darkness and time. The end result is an album that seemingly comes to terms with a dimming — both internal and external — and the true end of everything.
