Description
With The Butterfly Effect, Moonspell ventured down new paths and produced some of the most contrasting songs of their career, which are finally available again as an LP. Recorded at London's Trident Studios in 1999, the Portuguese band's fourth album saw them follow more experimental paths after their impactful beginnings in gothic metal. Influenced by the industrial sounds of the 1990s, this album from the Portuguese pioneers features down-tuned guitars and ghostly synths, and is based on the concept of scientific chaos theory — the idea that even the smallest events in life can lead to tremendous consequences.
