IBERIA are one of the most important Portuguese bands of the 80's. Formed in late 1986, they would split up ten years later with
albums that would become authentic classics such as "Iberia" (1988) and "Heroes Of The Wasteland" (1990 ).
"Much Higher Than a Hope" was the much acclaimed return of the IBERIA in 2017. Reedited now by Rastilho Records, label
that signs with the IBERIA a new publishing and distribution partnership that will have new chapters in the next years.The disc
comes accompanied by a second CD entitled "Ellipsis" with 4 acoustic themes.

In the words of João Sérgio, bass player of the band:
"This work is a result of the desire to give fans something more than a simple re issue. All the graphic art of the work was altered and
it reflects in fact what we thought for this work and that it was not possible to do at the time. and we thought of a different format from what
we are accustomed to:

We had made a mini concert acoustic in a Forum when we received the medal of Artistic and Cultural Merit of our land and went very well.
That's why we created an Acoustic Medley joining various themes of our career and made a chronological return starting with
"Much Higher Than a Hope" going through "Revolution", "Heroes of the Wasteland", "Iberia" to the first Hollywood hit. We went to
the studio and the result is there: An acoustic EP of his name "Ellipsis" that is part of this Platinum Edition and celebrates 30 years of editions of the band!
The national Hard Rock / Metal presents itself in public with an undeniable level of quality, easily comparable with international
great productions! IBERIA’s 4th album “Much Higher Than A Hope” brings back this band which, despite its longevity
(more than 30 years existence), has managed to adapt to change, always upgrading their sound, thus never forgetting their past,
maintaining themselves faithful to their rocking attitude.
