D'Muata is the title of the second Perchta album and translates from the Austrian dialect: The Mother.

The name says it all, as the singer and her band have created a feminist manifesto in the context of their folk-influenced black metal.

Perchta still refuse to be pigeonholed into any genre. Ever since the band was founded, Frau Percht intended to preserve and rejuvenate regional traditions with her music.
