Happy Faces - Digipak CD

Punk/indie rock band PLAIINS have been on a steamroller since their formation at the end of 2020. The formation, which has already played with bands such as ITCHY, Cold Years, LEAP, Press Club and many others, is now presenting its debut album “Happy Faces”. PLAIINS offer a unique blend of British punk, indie and rock, taking inspiration from bands such as IDLES, Hives, Soft Play, Bad Nerves, The Streets and Viagra Boys.

"We wanted the album to be fun and bombastic. With lyrics that make you laugh, but when you sit down and read them, they have a lot more lyrical depth," says frontman Chris Reardon. "I wanted us to make an album that would stand the test of time, be cohesive and full of character, unique and distinct, and a great contribution to the wonderful catalog of rock music. I have so much love, awe and reverence for the greats, and I wanted us to at least be on that level."

PLAIINS have already released more than twenty songs and have regularly landed in the top playlists on Spotify as well as BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing and RBB fritz since the beginning - their momentum continues unabated.
