Description
Originally released in November 2008, The Age of Nero is the seventh studio album by black metal band Satyricon.
Most of the album was written in a cabin in the woods with the help of Snorre Ruch (Thorns). Part of the album was recorded at Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California. Bands such as Metallica and Nirvana have also recorded at the studio.
The album contains the singles "Black Crow on a Tombstone" and "My Skin Is Cold".
The album hasn't been available on vinyl for over 16 years and is now being re-released as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on silver coloured vinyl in a gatefold sleeve with an insert.
