Although it was not officially released until a decade later, TORMENTOR introduced themselves with "Seventh Day of Doom" back in 1987. Led by legendary vocalist Attila Csihar, the Hungarian band sounded more evil and depraved than the primitive heavy metal coming out of Eastern Europe in the late '80s and early '90s. They should sound even more evil, but on this recording you can already hear why this band was effusively praised by the second wave of black metal.The riffs boom, the drums are as fast as a locomotive racing through the gates of hell, and Attila sounds like he's spitting hot bile.
