One of the most influential bands in gothic: THEATRE OF TRAGEDY. The band was formed in 1993 in Stavanger (Norway) and were one of the bands that elevated gothic rock and metal from an underground niche to the mainstream focus. They broke up in 2010, but their impact can be felt to this day!
