Description
Total Maniac is a DIY project at heart. The first songs were written over the years from 2012 to 2020, when the first recordings were made. All recordings took place in the presence of Volker, who finished the process but passed away 2 weeks after the final phrases were recorded.
The sound differs from previous WARHAMMER releases in that it evolves from the strong HELLHAMMER influences to its own distinctive sound, but still stays true to its origins.
With a cover version of CRUDE SS and VELLOCET on the bonus EP, not only the sympathy but also the direct influence of the punk scene is emphasised.
Total Maniac was also mixed in 2022 in DIY style by the remaining WARHAMMER members and Frederik Aderholz and subjected to professional mastering by Obscured by Evil.
