In 2012, the cult doom metal band Winter played the Power Of The Riff East/West Tour.

On 2 September, the band played in their hometown of New York and the venue was the Warsaw.

Winter performed with the line-up of Stephen Flam (guitar), John Alman (bass and vocals), Jim Jackson (drums) and original keyboardist Tony Pinnisi, who played with the band for the first time since the recording of the "Into Darkness" LP in 1989.
