Description
Demolition is the first studio album by British heavy metal band Girlschool, released in 1980. It was produced by veteran sound engineer Vic Maile and peaked at number 28 in the UK Albums Chart, following the rise of the new wave of British heavy metal phenomenon. The tour in support of the album included high profile support slots at Black Sabbath and Uriah Heep shows. Race With The Devil" is a cover of the song originally performed by British rockers The Gun. Often associated with contemporaries Motörhead, they are the longest running all-female rock band still active after more than 40 years. Throughout their career they have toured the world and played many rock and metal festivals. They have a worldwide cult following and are an inspiration to many female rock musicians.
