The Austrian party thrash metal band Insanity Alert has been around since 2011. The track Run To The Pit, which was also featured on the first demo and the first album, has always been an integral part of the live setlist.

Run To The Pit is a cover version of the Iron Maiden hit Run The The Hills, which the guys from Tyrol have really stitched into a thrash metal guise.

It is now 2024 and Insanity Alert have decided to release an EP with 4 tracks entitled Moshemian Thrashody. From the title you can probably already guess where the journey is going, and you are absolutely right, because Insanity Alert have taken four well-known songs from the rock, metal and pop genres and created their own versions of them:

Wecome to the Jungle became Welcome to the Moshpit, Fear of the Dark became Beer in the Park, Careles Whisper became Beerlees Fieste and you've probably already guessed it: Moshemian Thrasody is a cover of Bohemian Rhapsody.
