Load is Metallica's sixth studio album, which was originally released in June 1996 and is the band's longest studio album with a running time of 79 minutes. As the successor to the “Black Album”, it reached number 1 in the album charts in many countries around the world, including the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Australia and New Zealand - and contains the singles “Until It Sleeps”, “Hero of the Day”, “Mama Said” and “King Nothing”.
