Description
Necromantia was an influential Greek black metal band formed in Athens in 1989.
Their debut album Crossing the Fiery Path (1993) is considered a milestone of Greek black metal. Together with Rotting Christ and Varathron, Necromantia was part of the “Unholy Trinity” of the Greek scene.
The 3 demos: Promo Tape 1990, Vampiric Rituals (1992) and Promo 1993 as well as the tracks from The Black Arts / The Everlasting Sins split release with Varathron will be released in September 2025 as limited (150 copies each) tape reissues.
