It's clear that Fit For An Autopsy have internalized this mantra, as they continue to evolve with each successive work. The New Jersey band not only blurs the lines between technical metal virtuosity, death metal menace, hardcore intensity, melodic deviousness and abstract approaches, but embodies its own uncompromising vision.

The six-piece band - Joseph Badolato [vocals], Patrick Sheridan [guitar], Timothy Howley [guitar], Will Putney [guitar], Peter Blue Spinazola [bass] and Josean Orta Martinez [drums] - perfects this approach on their sixth album, Oh What The Future Holds [Nuclear Blast Records].

When the global pandemic changed all touring plans, Fit For An Autopsy began writing in the spring of 2020, making the most of their time off the road.
In early 2021, Fit For An Autopsy gathered in person at Graphic Nature Audio in Putney and recorded Oh What The Future Holds. Now they unveil the album with the single "Far From Heaven." Like a perfect storm, the airy guitar swirls through a pounding percussive groove while the melodic vocals descend into guttural moans punctuated by breakneck riffs and powerful dynamics.
