Björn "Speed" Strid and SOILWORK are melodic (death) metal legends. The band from Helsingborg (Sweden) was formed in 1995 (under the moniker INFERIOR BREED) and became one of the most influental acts in the more extreme metal scene while their style is one of a kind. They mix death and alternative metal with symphonic elements and extreme metal attacks while "Speed" uses the full range of vocal styles - from deep grunts to ultra-melodic.
