The Hu
The Mongolian folk rock band THE HU was formed in 2016 and is unlike anything else within their genre. They entitled their style “hunnu rock”, inspired by the ancient Turkic/Mongolian empire known as the Hunnu. Their throat singing in combination with ancient folk instruments and stomping rock rhythms are like a whirlwind that sucks you right in.
