THULCANDRA pay hommage to the early masters of blackened melodic death metal like Dissection, Sacramentum and Unanimated. But they aren't just an act that lives from nostalgia, in fact they deliver classic attributes with a top-notch instrumental performance and great songs. Mastermind Steffen Kummerer (OBSCURA) and his band pay a lot of attention to details, including the artworks that all were done by Necrolord and incorporate the infamous "blue" that dominated Dissection's classic imagery.
